"Calvin Wright… An inspiring, encouraging and committed speaker. CJ had the opportunity to talk with the youth at New Life Deliverance Tabernacle in Richmond, Virginia. He gave them words of encouragement to ensure them that they can accomplish anything; if you put your minds to it you can do it!. He shared with the young people how he didn’t always get things right, but he was able to change that situation around by not being a follower, but a leader. CJ gave the congregation words to live by to help build them as awesome human beings. Showing them how to build their confidence, commitment, and being able to prioritize what’s for them and what’s not! CJ reemphasize to the young people as well as parents, the change starts with you! Several young people with in a few Sundays made changes within their lives and receive baptism.
I do suggest that if you have not read this book, now is the time! “The Wright Step Forward” is an easy read. It’s also relatable! Thank you for all the incredible work that you are doing for our youth and our men and women of tomorrow."
"I had the pleasure of working with Mr. CJ Wright a couple of years ago. I invited him to be a guest speaker for our 8th grade graduation. Mr. Wright’s storytelling was so compelling. "I had the incredible opportunity to have CJ Wright as the keynote speaker at the Student Council Association (SCA) Installation Ceremony at my elementary school in Hampton, VA. I cannot express how transformative his presence was for our upper elementary students, teachers, and staff. His motivational speech was nothing short of powerful and uplifting, effectively using our school mascot, the bald eagle, as a symbol of strength, perseverance, and the vision to soar to new heights.
From the moment he stepped onto the stage, Mr. Wright captivated our audience with his inspiring words and engaging storytelling.
